Springtime!! The weather's warming up and everything's looking up. Hexagon just ended- Thanks to
everyone who came out, by the way - and I'm finally beginning to see the light of a flexible schedule once again. First
things first, though, I have a few announcements to make.
This Saturday night, I'm playing a cop in a wonderful new play by Shawn Northrip, the writer of such
wonders as "The Texas Chainsaw Musical" and "Lunch: The Musical" (which I discuss with friends Leo Goodman
and Jim Elliott
on the Radio Show here). It's called
"The Playdoh Golem," and it's all part of the DC Jewish Community Center's
J on Demand Purim celebration. Tickets cost $10 and that includes one free drink. Yes, Judaism encourages getting obliterated
on Purim...long story. The staged reading of "The Playdoh Golem" is happening at 9:30 at the DC JCC at the corner
of 16th and Q St NW. Some of the stars include local favorites like Bryant Sullivan, Michelle Hessel, Casie Platt, and other
cool people.

Also, I'm performing in Mike Blejer and Kyle Martin's first installment of
"Steal this Show!"
at O'Sullivan's pub, right in the heart of Clarendon, off of Wilson Blvd near the Clarendon Metro, on Monday night.
This should be a great show, and hopefully will be the first of many great standup nights there. You're probably thinking,
"Well, I like standup, I like Tyler, but if there's one thing that cancels both of those things out, its paying full
price for hamburgers!". Well, apparently they have 1/2 priced burgers there Monday nights. Your list of excuses for not
being there has officially been squashed. Seriously, though, should be a great show, come and support for free.

So, in exciting reports on TDC Production activity, I'm well in the throes of the
Georgetown Cabaret 2008
DVD. The show was spectacular this year, and the DVD should hopefully be no less. All I want to do is afford Cisco
Crespo and Matt McNally's rendition of "By the Way" (complete with sock hanging from pants, and homoeroticism)
the dignity it deserves! I'll post some clips once the DVD nears completion and they'll be available for $10 plus
whatever little postage. [I'm sorry I don't have access to a good logo/image for the DVD yet..I'll try to get
that up tonight].
Also, I need a new web server soon. Web.com is pretty solid, don't get me wrong, but I'm
not interested in paying all this money for the issues I've been having with the service, and considering how I don't
use the site for all of its capable, really. Any good suggestions are welcome. webmaster at tdcpresents dot com.
